NEBA understands that by promoting the needs of local businesses, through various activities and programmes, we can offer opportunities for learners and teachers to raise their skills and understanding of the world of work.

We recruit and train business volunteers to work with, and support, learners in developing and enhancing their enterprise skills and entrepreneurial attitudes. These programmes are outlined below:-

Assessment Centre Programme

The purpose of this activity is to enable students to experience the recruitment and selection techniques used by employers in today's highly competitive job market.

The purpose of this activity is to provide students with the opportunity to practice and develop their interview techniques whilst receiving coaching and feedback from employers.

Sector Day Programme

This programme supports those studying vocational subjects providing them with opportunities to meet employers and explore careers within different sectors. Business volunteers are encouraged to support learners by facilitating various activities.
