Do you remember when you were at school and you just did not know which career path to take? How useful would it have been to get an insight into working life and business? That’s where we come in and where we need your help to support young people make a good start to their working life.

NEBA needs people like you to support work-related learning activities and programmes including:-

  • Participating in the Business & Enterprise Programme
  • Offering your time to the Interview Skills Programme
  • Mentoring a young person
  • Providing work placement opportunities for young people
  • Hosting a teacher within your business
  • Developing tailor made activities related to your organisation or business sector
  • Becoming a STEM Ambassador
  • Opportunities to influence 14-19 education and qualifications such as the Diplomas and Young Apprenticeships
 

There are many reasons and benefits to get involved:-

  • Develop the skills of your workforce, increase staff motivation and morale
  • Prepare your future workforce by inspiring, motivating and involving young people
  • Influence the learning experiences of young people and promote a better understanding between business and education
  • Demonstrate community responsibility and promote positive attitudes to your business
