As part of the national Design and Technology week which runs from 21st - 25th June, Key 1 & 2 learners are being challenged to write a short adventure story about Shaun the Sheep and his friends, and make it come to life using moving pictures!

Big Conversation in Nottingham

NEBA is working in partnership with Business in the Community and other Education Business Partnerships from across the East Midlands to host the Big Conversation at Alliance Boots in Nottingham on 16th March. The event, convened by Alex Gourlay, Chief Executive, Health and Beauty Division, Alliance Boots will see the official launch of the Work Inspiration campaign, bringing together business leaders, educationalists and young people to explore the importance of work experience.

Steps into Healthcare Events

A series of interactive workshop events offering information, advice and guidance on career opportunities within the healthcare sector are set to take place during April, May and July.The events, organised by Aimhigher Nottinghamshire and its partners, the NHS, NEBA, EDCON and the Trent Simulation & Clinical Skills Centre at QMC will offer learners the chance to particpate in workshops reflecting the diverse range of jobs on offer within the sector such as Acupuncture, Nursing & Midwifery, Dietetics and First Aid Training.
