It's great news for Connor Conway, who has recently completed the Young Apprenticeship in Construction Programme, in partnership with Education Business Futures, West Nottinghamshire College and Portland Comprehensive School. Following 2 years of targeted work experience with Connaught's A1 Housing Partnership in Carlton in Lindrick, Connor has been successful in securing a post-16 Apprenticeship in Tiling with his work placement employer.

Students from White Hills Park Federation in Broxtowe visited explo're Manufacturing in Steetley as part of their work-related learning activities required for the Diploma in Manufacturing and Product Design (MPD).

 

explo're Manufacturing, a facility which is part of the Laing O'Rourke Group, is committed to engaging and spiring students in the range of opportunities open to them if they are interested in pursuing a career in manufacturing.

Young people from Mansfield took part in a youth conversation event held recently at the Civic Centre. The event was organised by the Mansfield Learning Partnership (MLP), an initiative involving all Mansfield secondary schools, West Notts College and other partners including Education Business Futures.
