A Business and Enterprise, organised by NEBA is being held at Becket School in West Bridgford on Thursday 28 January for learners in Year 11. The day aims to boost employability skills of students and gives learners an opportunity to work with people from a variety of business and industry sectors.
Representatives from various organisations who will be attending on the day include Boots Brands team, Coca Cola, RAF, Focus Zenith Marketing, Atos Origin, Move & Save estate agents, Technology Consultancy, Rushcliffe Rotary, TTS and EAM Building Group.
The employers will guide groups of Year 11 learners through a series of practical activities throughout the day, leading to an overall winning team.
Carol Povey, NEBA said: "Business and Enterprise Daysdeliver work related learning in a fun and refreshing way and can benefit students of all abilities, improving their self-esteem and aspirations, and providing challenges at all levels."
