On 1 April, NEBA joined forces with Connexions Nottinghamshire and the 16-18 education and training commissioning services previously carried out but the Learning & Skills Council to form a new company dedicated to helping young people aspire and progress.
The new organisation is called Nottingham and Nottinghamshrie Futures (Futures) and within this company the work experience and employer engagement activities previously offered by NEBA will be branded Education Business Futures (EBF)
So, what does this all mean?
If you're an Employer...
You will receive information, advice and guidance on work experience, placements and the 14-19 Diplomas from Education Business Futures (formerly NEBA). The Business Engagement team will continue to be a point of contact for employers and business professionals.
If you're a teacher, work in school, college or for a training provider...
You will continue to be offered a selection of work-based programmes and activities plus access to the work experience database from Education Business Futures.
Over time our branding will change to Education Business Futures (EBF) and our services/activities will expand.
