Young people from Mansfield took part in a youth conversation event held recently at the Civic Centre. The event was organised by the Mansfield Learning Partnership (MLP), an initiative involving all Mansfield secondary schools, West Notts College and other partners including Education Business Futures.

 

Mansfield Youth Mayor, Leah Wright welcomed young people to the event where they were given the chance to talk about their experiences in the first year of post-16 education and training - like the choice of courses on offer, work experience and job opportunities.

 

MLP Director, Berni Dickinson said: "This has been a wonderful opportunity to bring young people together. By partners working together we will have a greater impact on young people's education and training experience."
