> Assessment Centre Programme

The Assessment Centre Programme enables learners to experience the recruitment and selection techniques used by employers. EBF recruits volunteers from the local business community to offer their expertise in activities such as psychometric testing, interview role plays and aptitude tests.

> Business & Enterprise Programme

The Business and Enterprise Programme comprises a day of activities and workshops for young people aged 14-16. Business volunteers work with small teams of students helping them to understand how businesses operate and the skills, attributes and qualities they will need for work.

> E-mentoring Programme

E-mentoring is programme where an employee voluntarily gives their time to support a learner by email. Emails are exchanged approximately once a week using a secure, highly encrypted, web based system. Mentors act as positive role models for young people offering support and guidance as required.

> Interview Skills Programme

The experience of an authentic interview situation enables young people to practice and develop their interview skills and techniques with a real employer. Business volunteers provide written and verbal feedback to the learner based upon their performance, quality of application and personal presentation.
