> Assessment Centre Programme

The Assessment Centre Programme enables learners to experience the recruitment and selection techniques used by employers.  Activities include psychometric testing, interview role plays and aptitude tests.

> Business & Enterprise Programme

The Business and Enterprise Programme comprises a day of activities and workshops for young people aged 14-16. NEBA recruits local business people to work with teams of students undertaking various activities and challenges helping them to understand how businesses operate and the skills, attributes and qualities they will need for work.

> E-mentoring Programme

E-mentoring is an email relationship where an employee voluntarily gives their time to support a young person. Emails are exchanged approximately once a week using a secure, highly encrypted, web based system. Mentors act as positive role models for young people offering support and guidance as required.

> Enterprise Audit Service

NEBA recognises the importance of schools/colleges being able to demonstrate evidence of delivering enterprise skills. NEBA can provide schools/colleges with an enterprise audit where their levels of enterprise and work-related learning in every subject area are assessed against QCA criteria.  For more information on this service please contact admin@neba.org.uk

> Interview Skills Programme

The experience of an authentic interview situation enables young people to practice and develop their interview skills and techniques with a real employer. Employers provide written and verbal feedback to the student based upon their performance, quality of application and personal presentation.

> Teacher Placements

Teacher placements are the equivalent of work experience for teachers and usually involve spending some time within a company. The purpose of these placements is to develop and update teachers’ understanding of current industry practices, procedures and techniques. NEBA also hosts regular workshop sessions for teachers, focusing on particular sector areas. Please check the events calendar to check out the forthcoming opportunities, or speak to the business engagement team on 01623 404345 if you have a specific requirement.
